St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock: Free Crochet Pattern

St. Patrick’s Day is 10 days away, so let’s start celebrating with this adorable crochet shamrock. It’s a beginner pattern, so anyone can do it!

Without further ado, let’s dive into this pattern. I wanted to make it as easy as possible… just look at the materials needed ๐Ÿ˜‰

Materials Needed

-Any type of yarn

-Any size hook that corresponds with yarn

Yup, that’s it! Are you ready for this pattern? I sure am! It takes less than 30 minutes to polish off one shamrock, so why not get started right away? By the time the hour is done, you’ll have your own little collection of shamrocks to hang around your walls or put in a bowl or just toss around the house, like I did ๐Ÿ™‚

I use pattern abbreviations in this pattern. (tc=treble crochet).

If you are still having trouble with the stitches, simply look them up on youtube and you’ll get lots of good video tutorials. I, personally, learn most of my stitches that way ๐Ÿ˜‰

Also, before we get started, there are two shamrock options you can choose to make. I’ll insert pictures of both options below. The difference is minor, but if you look at the stem, you will see that in the first picture it comes from the middle leaf while in the second it comes from the bottom center.

If you choose to make the first option, follow version A for steps 6, 12, 18, 19, and 20. If you choose to make the second option, follow version B.
